With the temperature finally above freezing again, the ice was dropping off the tree limbs so they are no longer sparkling in the sunlight like earlier in the week.

The sun made it appearance for a few hours in the morning to highlight the new frost that formed overnight. If you were under the branches when the wind picked up, you could think it was actually snowing as the frost fell.

The weather forecasters lied again as there was no sunshine today, so it would be a good day to curl up with a book on another gray, chilly winter day. The little free libraries have been popping up more and some are rather cute like this little library made to be a miniature of the building it is in front of.

There were some snowflake floating in the air today as the temperature dropped. And it will be a while before seeing some butterflies flitting around on some colorful blooming flowers instead of the white landscape.

The morning dawned to another very frosty morning, but at least the only snow falling was the frost dropping off the tree branches when the sun warmed up the trees.
